The A50 carbon dioxide monitor provides audio/visual alarms should there be a leak which exceeds permissible safety levels such as those defined in EH40.  The unit does not require any calibration unless local regulations mandate it.

Standards including EH40 and TUV in Europe mandate that employees and members of the public are not exposed to potentially dangerous levels of CO2 as it is a highly toxic gas in relatively small quantities.  The A50 is an affordable, easy to operate carbon dioxide monitor and is ideal for ensuring safety in areas where the gas is piped or stored including bars, pub cellars or fast food restaurants.

The main sensor unit should be wall-mounted in the area highlighted as a risk. Analox’s A50 is also supplied with a repeater unit which can be placed at the entrance to warn anyone walking into the area of an alarm before entering.
