Sensors detect lithium-ion battery electrolyte solvent vapours (off-gas detection),
provide temperature and humidity monitoring of the space.

The Li-Ion Tamer Reference Sensors are indicated by blue endplates and are mounted near external contaminant entry points to prevent false-positive alarms.

Linux-based industrial computer for the Li-ion Tamer Gen 3 System that aggregates and processes sensor signals, communicates sensor status and records a detailed history of time-stamped data from the sensors for post-event diagnosis. Aggregates up to 100 sensors, communicates system status through Modbus TCP/IP and connects to the relay module to provide configurable dry-contact outputs.

Hub (Honeywell version) originates the daisy-chain connection of the sensors and distributes 12 VDC to the sensors. Hubs communicate with the sensor(s) over CANbus and relay information to the Controller via TCP/IP over Ethernet. Hubs detect various errors and alarm conditions for self-diagnosing capabilities. Each Hub can support up to 12 sensors. There are two versions of the Hub, including the Hub - PoE and Hub - Direct Power. The Hub - PoE receives power from a PoE ethernet switch and can support two sensor chains. The Hub - Direct Power receives 12 VDC from a DC power supply and can support one sensor chain.
