Tractel Blocstop BSA Secondary Safety Device - Automatic version with tilt protection

Machines for man-riding applications require an additional safety device. The BLOCSTOP™ secondary safety device is a safety component in accordance with the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC.

The Blocstop™ BSO will be activated automatically if the descent speed of a load becomes too high. A centrifugal weight will then close the clamping jaws and tighten the safety rope.

The Blocstop™ is automatically activated in case of a slack rope caused by a broken rope or loss of load.

This system provides tilt protection by limiting the inclination to 14%
