Hermetic UTImeter Gtex for Closed Operation

The HERMetic UTImeter Gtex from Honeywell Tanksystem is a portable, gas-tight liquid level gauge specifically engineered for accurately gauging hydrocarbons and chemicals in closed systems. This innovative device enhances safety and efficiency during cargo control measurements, custody transfers, temperature assessments, and free water detection on marine vessels.

The HERMetic UTImeter Gtex provides three essential measurements in one operation:

• Ullage level measurement
• Temperature verification
• Oil-water interface detection

It is offered in four distinct versions:

• HERMetic UTImeter Gtex: Features a 1-inch sensing probe with FKM gaskets, ideal for key hydrocarbon applications.
• HERMetic UTImeter Gtex Chem: Equipped with a 1-inch sensing probe, FFKM gaskets, and a tape connector for use with corrosive liquids.
• HERMetic UTImeter Gtex Visc: Designed with a 2-inch load on the sensing probe, suitable for high-viscosity products in hydrocarbons.
• HERMetic UTImeter Gtex Chem Visc: Tailored for corrosive liquids with similar high-viscosity requirements.

This device allows for easy battery replacement and can be customized with interchangeable adaptors for various vapor control valve connections. Standard features include tape cleaning devices, a window wiper, and tape protection.

The HERMetic UTImeter Gtex sensor is calibrated only once at the factory and does not require any further calibration afterward. It utilises an RTD temperature probe, with all its characteristics embedded within the sensor itself. As a result, the sensor accurately transmits true temperature readings to the electronic unit, meaning that replacing a sensor or tape does not necessitate recalibration.
