Honeywell Li-ion Tamer LT-ACC-HUB-PWR-HON Gen 3 Direct Power Hub

The Honeywell Li-ion Tamer LT-ACC-HUB-PWR-HON is a direct-powered communications hub designed for use within Li-ion Tamer Gen 3 lithium-ion battery off-gas detection systems. It provides the starting point for the sensor daisy chain, distributing power and enabling CANbus communications between connected Li-ion Tamer sensors and the wider monitoring system.

Each hub can support up to 12 Li-ion Tamer Gen 3 Monitoring and Reference Sensors, allowing sensors to be distributed throughout a lithium-ion battery installation to provide comprehensive early warning coverage.

The LT-ACC-HUB-PWR-HON is powered directly from a 12 VDC supply via its terminal block. This makes it particularly suitable for smaller systems, as the hub can use the same 12 VDC power supply as the Li-ion Tamer Gen 3 Controller. For larger or differently configured installations, multiple hubs can be incorporated into the system to accommodate the required number and distribution of sensors.

Connected sensors are arranged in a daisy-chain configuration from the hub, simplifying system wiring while providing both power distribution and CANbus communications. The hub then connects into the Li-ion Tamer network, allowing sensor information to be communicated to the Gen 3 Controller for central monitoring and processing.

Its ability to support up to 12 sensors from a single hub provides a convenient method of distributing Li-ion Tamer sensors throughout the protected area while maintaining power and communications back to the central monitoring system.
