About Analox

Founded in 1981 in Guisborough, North Yorkshire, Analox started by developing gas analysis equipment for commercial diving in the oil and gas industry. Over the past four decades, the company has grown into a global leader in advanced gas sensing technology, trusted across multiple industries and environments.

From securing US Navy approval in 1990 to transforming CO₂ monitoring in hospitality in 1996, Analox has consistently set new standards in gas detection. The company’s expertise has extended to submarine rescue systems, manned space missions, and innovative safety solutions across the globe. Expansion into the US market in 2002 and strategic acquisitions in 2018 further strengthened its technology and reach.

Today, Analox systems operate in some of the world’s most demanding conditions protecting submariners and astronauts, reducing methane emissions in agriculture, and safeguarding deep-sea divers.
